My Ancestor

This post is very difficult for me...only because I do not know who my ancestors are. I could lie and say that I'm related to Cleopatra because I'm from Egypt and you would never know but I'm above that. The truth is, my parents never really talk about deceased family members. I don't even know the names of my grandparents. No lie. So, for this post, I'm going to describe what I think my furthest ancestor would be like.

Well, if she's on my father's side of the family, I imagine her to be very analytic and skilled in what she does. She most likely has dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. She would also be tall. If my father's side of the family has told me anything, it's that there is a 90% chance that she's an engineer of some sort. EVERYONE on my father's side of the family is an engineer. EVERYONE.

On the other hand, if she's on my mother's side, then she's probably very beautiful with soft, flowing, dark blonde locks and very artistic. She would probably be a teacher or a painter, like my aunt.



This may be a very weak blog post but when I tried to ask my parents about our ancestors all I got was "I don't think we have any information on them here..." and "Why is this so important to you, anyways?"

My Crayon Box

My crayon box is a bit primary, boring, and out there. You wouldn't think a girl of my personality would choose some of these colors. However, each of these colors 

Cool Coral--In the summer you will ALWAYS see me wearing coral. On my nails, bathing suit, blouses, all coral. All the time.

Hunter--Fall color. I've been eye-ing this color in stores. Online. Everywhere. It's competing with purple for my new favorite color.

Geaux Gold--I think this is self-explainatory. Geaux Tigers!

Crisp Linen--An off-white, sort of ivory color. Majority of my blankets, coats, and dresses are this color. I love the look of fresh, clean white sheets. Ah! 

Mellow Mauve-- My bedroom at my parent's house is this color. It makes me happy when I see his color. Reminds me of home.

Royal Navy-- Navy is the new black. Goes with everything. I always seem to pin and reblog pictures of navy outfits on Tumblr and Pinterest. Obsessed with this color.

Louisiana Purple--Love the purple. Absolute favorite color. This is my go to color in the fall.

I'm a girl, why should I convince this person that we're destined to be together? He should make the first move. How modern, right?

My last meal

This one is kind of tough. I really enjoy food. If we're ruling an open buffet out as an option, I'm gonna have to ponder over this one. Hm...well, my first thought is to eat something I'm deathly allergic to and pray that I die on my own terms but I probably wouldn't have the guts to do that so I'm going to say 2 chipotle burritos and a liter of diet coke. If I'm going to die, I'm going to be fat and happy (for a moment). I have never seen anyone eat 2 chipotle burritos in one sitting. I can barely eat one. So, for my last meal, I am going to attempt the impossible and go for it. As for the diet coke...that's pretty obvious. It's every girl's holy water (sorry God).

Yup, I am going to die a very full and happy girl.

Thanks for just being you

So I sent this text message, "Hey. Thanks for just being you." to 5 people. I only got 1 response. I also got an interesting phone call from another person immediately after I sent the message. I was not prepared for that one. This is an excellent measure of how many friends I have.

Anyways, here's the one response I got.

After I told this person of the assignment they asked for their name to not be shown so that is why this image is cropped.

I eventually told the girl about the assignment and she immediately responded with "Can I change my answer then?"
